The doctrine of Christianity has always been that Jesus is
Emmanuel: God with us.
The power of the cross is that God experienced death for the sins of the world. The perfect lamb of God. No mere human could have died and redeemed humanity. Only the perfection of Christ, the only begotten Son of the living God.
"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
God is three in one.
God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit
The whole reason Jesus was killed was because He claimed to be God. Who else can forgive sins? God is ultimately offended by sin, and so only God can ultimately forgive. And Jesus confirmed it his power to forgive through signs and wonders.
The gospel of John tells us so much about Jesus. Just from the first chapter we can be certain:
a) The Word was in the beginning.
b) The Word was with God.
c) The Word was God.
d) By the Word, all things were made.
e) Without the Word, nothing was made.
f) In the Word was life.
g) As many as who received the Word, He gave the right to be called children of God.
h) The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
i) The Word is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
If Jesus is all of those things, how could He not be God?
I’d like to respond to Anon’s claim that “Jesus didn’t even call himself God.” Please look at John 8:53-59:
“Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? And the prophets died! Who do you make yourself out to be?” 54 Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’ 55 But you have not known him. I know him. If I were to say that I do not know him, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and I keep his word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.” 57 So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” 59 So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.”
By saying, “before Abraham was, I am,” Jesus was unequivocally claiming to be God. He took to himself the most holy name of God, the name that pious Jews would not dare say aloud, the name that God announced as His in speaking to Moses from the burning bush: “I am.” The fact that His listeners picked up stones to throw at Him shows that they certainly understood Jesus to be thereby claiming divinity; they intended to kill Him for blasphemy.
Another great point.
if you live with a cat, you have had this conversation.
where is the lie in this statement?

I AM YOUR PERSONAL ART CHEERLEADER I LOVE ART FRIENDS
I’ve been asked a lot about how I draw hoods, mostly Talon’s hood, so I hope this helps a little? Just a pretty basic thing but hey there ya go
Hoods are pretty cool, they usually have a lot of variety in how they can look (and sometimes people even wear two hoods at once) so just get creative with it and have fun
